Before travelling to Portugal, we had been keeping an eye on the weather in the Algarve. It had been poor and the night time temperature had droped as low as four celsius. When we arrived, our house was, by Algarve standards, freezing. We headed out during a nice sunny day to explore Tavira. When we got home, the house, designed for hot summers, was only slightly warmer.
