This short excursion made a nice restful end to our week of long treks.
The Acebuche reserve can be reached by bus. Take the Matalascañas to Almonte line or the Sevilla bus.
The all terrain bus tours of the Donaña National Park start here.
There is a visitor centre, a shop and a cafe where we had lunch. There are wooden board walks to protect the environment. Some of the wetlands have hides for bird watching. We didn't see much wildlife. Perhaps because it was still quite cool for the season. We saw devices for extracting pine nuts and distilling.
