This walk starts at the free car park at Dunwich. The route is mostly through forest, heath and along the beach. Only short stretches have vehicular traffic. The Eels Foot Inn is a good place for lunch. Also Dunwich has a pub and a fish and chip restaurant. It is possible to do a shorter version of this walk by parking at the "White Houses" Minsmere car park. This is quite an expensive place to park.
